This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_021C_01C242FA.DE315F30 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I am unable to setup x windows with Xfree86 4. Using=20 previous versions I could use XF86Setup and it would auto=20 probe my video card "S3Virge" and work perfectly. It appears that XF86Setup is no longer an option so I tried using xf86cfg. When I try using xf86cfg it launches an xsession perfectly but I do not see an option to save the settings. Then I exit out of xf86cfg and do a startx and get a fatal server error=20 no screens found. It sounds like the xserver isnt setup but I do not see an option to config anything when xf86cfg is launched. Is there a way to save the settings once xf86cfg launches ? Thanks in advance, Mike ------=_NextPart_000_021C_01C242FA.DE315F30 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2715.400" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2> I am unable to setup x windows = with Xfree86=20 4.
