Please excuse, if this is the wrong place to ask. I am a newbie when it comes
to kernels. Some where I saw UNix System V R4 is derived from BSD. I thought all Sys V stuff was related to AT&T Code.
I am reading a book by Maurice BAch. Are the basic data structures and simple 
algorithms like managing free buffers etc same in BSD too.
