  If kdelibs2 is built with threads support (which will happen if the
pth port happens to be installed), arts doesn't work properly.  For
instance, ogg123 (audio/vorbistools) is not able to use the arts
daemon: ogg123 -d arts says "cannot open device arts".

 Install the kdelibs2 port on a machine which has pth installed
already

 Add the option
 --disable-threading
 to CONFIGURE_ARGS in kdelibs2/Makefile
