This is the string from pciconf none0@pci2:7:0: class=0x028000 card=0x3c091186 chip=0x03021814 rev=0x00 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Ralink Technology, Corp' class = network and I verified that the if_ral_pci.c source file has the string { 0x1814, 0x0302, "Ralink Technology RT2561" }, in it. Yet loading ral using kldload does not show me any interface in ifconfig. I have the following modules loaded: 6 1 0xc07bd000 b7fc if_ral.ko Contains modules: Id Name 15 pccard/ral 16 cardbus/ral 17 pci/ral 7 5 0xc07c9000 1d7e4 wlan.ko Contains modules: Id Name 14 wlan 8 1 0xc07e7000 1b10 wlan_xauth.ko Contains modules: Id Name 18 wlan_xauth I am able to ping this interface from a remote laptop when booted from windows XP. What more do I need to get this interface working? Please cc: me as I am unsubscribed. -- Rgrds GobbledeGeek [Everything but Gobbledegook.. !!]
