I don't know > about the latest 4.0 betas, though. ] Yes it does. I have FreeBSD 3.4 and XFree86 3.3.6 running on A Dell Inspiron 7500 with 15.1" XVGA screen and I absolutely love it. It works great. I have the 1024x768 display. I am using the XF86Config file that I ftp'd from dell's website.
