https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D222973 Bug ID: 222973 Summary: shells/bash: option to enable system-wide /etc/bash.bashrc file for interactive bash shells Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ehaupt@FreeBSD.org Reporter: ilyushkeane@gmail.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(ehaupt@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: ehaupt@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 187128 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D187128&action= =3Dedit Add an option to enable system-wide /etc/bash.bashrc file for interactive b= ash shells Hello, lately I was trying to find a clean way to implement global bashrc and what I've found in the web is partly working solutions and inefficient workaroun= ds. I also found, that bash itself has system-wide /etc/bash.bashrc in the sour= ce, but commented out. So I guess it's at least convenient have this option to = be available and maybe this option should be default one. Patch for Makefile attached. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
