The website also instructs you how to obtain FreeBSD and the files you asked about above. And you should understand also that while Microsoft may be all flashy and easy to use, FreeBSD (while it too can be as such) is an ongoing project in which thousands of people are maintaining and upgrading (both features and support) but the main focus is the operating system. There are plenty of resources out there which are designed for people such as yourself that need that extra bit of help to get FreeBSD going. One excellent resource in which you'll learn everything you need to learn about FreeBSD is the book entitled "The Complete FreeBSD" (I personally have the 3rd Edition) in which a guy named Greg Lehey (grog@FreeBSD.ORG) (and several other fine individuals) document and layout FreeBSD in a concise and timely fashion. You can get more information at http://www.freebsdmall.com/books/#bsdcomp Since FreeBSD is just that "free", the main force behind the Project is done as I said by people in their free time and the goodness of their heart (or for whatever reasons). When you have a problem with your Microsoft Windows and you call Microsoft, you don't talk to the people who wrote Windows, you're talking to their Customer Support department. So invest some time and perhaps email Greg for information on how to get his fine book and spend the time to learn. Having everything done for you is denying to yourself you have the capability to learn something useful.
