It's the same situation as net/relayd.  I don't know of any other fork of t=
hese
daemons and FreeBSD requires a number of BPF safety belts that OpenBSD will
refuse to consider anyway.

I also don't think pulling the OpenBSD source tree is a good approach to ge=
t to
the source code here. Basically this is ancient ISC code forked a long time=
 ago
very similar to dhclient in FreeBSD base.
