I know it compiles, but I haven't runtested it. :) I've compiled a kernel with the patch, installed the kernel, rebooted with a power cycle, and printed without a panic, so it seems to work for me. Do still get this in /var/log/messages which might be annoying for those who print a lot: Jan 10 08:23:18 rottcodd kernel: lpt0: [GIANT-LOCKED] Jan 10 08:23:18 rottcodd kernel: lpt0: [ITHREAD] Jan 10 08:23:19 rottcodd kernel: lpt0: [GIANT-LOCKED] Jan 10 08:23:19 rottcodd kernel: lpt0: [ITHREAD] Thanks! Presumably this needs more testing before it hits RELENG7? -- Adrian Wontroba We have nowhere else to go... this is all we have. -- Margaret Mead
