https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=201612 Bug ID: 201612 Summary: Latex on MacMini G4 - issue with TeXLive Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: ppc OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: hrs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: san_jaykumar@yahoo.co.uk CC: freebsd-ppc@FreeBSD.org CC: freebsd-ppc@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(hrs@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: hrs@FreeBSD.org I wanted to use Latex, with the port for TeXLive print/texlive-base but it came up with this error: configure: error: Sorry, can not preprocess <lj_arch.h> === configuring in luajit failed I tried a couple of things and was able to eventually get it to work by editing the Makefile to add an argument: --disable-luajittex / as the first line in the CONFIGURE_ARGS section. I have been advised to submit a problem report. I am not sure if disabling LuaTex is the right thing to do or if there are other (and possibly better) options to get Tex/ Latex working on a PPC architecture. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
