I had to toss mine, and get a true SB16.  The Luigi/PnP combination claims
to be able to get at least some sound out of the 1868, but I futzed with
it for a while and couldn't get it working.
In the end, my new SB16 is working great, while the Win95 user I gave the
1868 to can't tell the difference...
