Hello all,

This little installation is going as well as expected. First off I
found that the SCSI card made by DTC isn't 1542 compatible. Upon boot up I
see the following, but don't know what's happening:
	fdc0 0x3F0 - 0x3F7 irq 6 drq 2 on ISA
	fdc0: NEC 765

I do have a NEC SCSI CD-ROM and I believe that it is on irq 6, but why can't
I access it?

Second, i have given up accessing the CD-ROM and have started to copy
necessary files to a DOS partition in a directory named freebsd. In this
attempt I have been able to get a minimal system up and running(very
minimal).
I keep having installation problems saying it can't find
"manpages/manpages.aa!" and can't find "dict/dict.aa!". What files do I have
to copy over to rid myself of these errors? I also want to install x windows
and emacs so I can get some work done. What files are necessary for this and
does everything have to be in the freebsd directory? So far, I have assumed
so.

A little confused,
Mike Marr
