Hi all! I have the following problem accessing my 3.5" floppy drive: Reading works perfectly with mtools and if the floppy is mounted. Dut if I try to write to floppy with mtools or by writing on the mounted diskette, I get the message: /dev/fd0 device timeout I get the same message when trying to unmount the floppy, I guess umount tries to write some buffers. My system is FreeBSD 2.1.0-RELEASE, installed from floppies downloaded from a mirror site (ftp.leo.org, at my university). I need this floppy drive, because it is the only "internet connection" of my machine now. Greetings, Reinhold Huber
