Hello all.

I have the same kind of problems when using StarOffice 5.1 with linux=20
port and FreeBSD.

My solution was to install Linux, install staroffice from the original=20
CD,
than take a "snapshot" from it with the libraries and make a "freebsd=20
package" along with the linux libs. This libs make staroffice respond=20
to accent characters like: =E7 =E3 =F5... indeed I am using starmail to =
put=20
this email in the list.
The Staroffice (in pkg_add format are at:=20
ftp://200.215.24.176/packages/All/Staroffice-5.5.1.tgz)=20
along with the linux-base 5.2 and the linux-compat-br-1.0 package that=20
make staroffice accent.

Of course, this Staroffice is for my native language (portuguese), but=20
if you need and english version I can build one next week. (please=20
bother me).

Hope this can help.
