A friend of mine just installed FreeBSD 4.1.1 on a machine. He gets some errors on bootup about SSH. If I log in, try to "ssh host.com" I get: "/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libcrypto.so.1" not found" So I went into /stand/sysinstall and told it to grab the Version 1 compatibility stuff. Also rem'd out /usr/local/etc/rc.d/sshd.sh I think he installed the port, which has done some stuff overtop of the default layout. How do you get the libcrypto.so.1 installed or, would it be better to deinstall the port, then go into /usr/src/secure/lib/libcrypt and do a "make && make install" ?? -Gerry To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
