I just recently cvsupped from 3.1r to 3.2b on a new install. Box is a DEC 300i+, 256m ram, Qlogic 1040 uw-scsi controller, seagate 9.1gig 68pin barracuda hd. System runs fine, however under 3.1r it correctly set the drive to 40mb/s transfers. When I recompiled the kernel after the cvsup, it now detects it as 3.30mb/s. While I did trim the kernel down some, everything for the controller and drive itself remained the same. Below is a copy of the boot probe from before and after..any help would be appreciated.
