You need to recompile the proper CPU class into your kernel.  In the
meantime you can boot the generic kernel, unfortunately I have no idea how
to do that with the newer 3.x boot loader.  Sorry about that :(  Hopefully
someone else on the list can tell you how.

(hit space at the bootup prompt and then type 'help', it should tell you
what you need to know there.)

BUT, once you boot the generic kernel, it'll list the CPU class detected
right near the top, after the copyright message.  This is the CPU class that
you need to define in your kernel.
