Well as it turns out it wasn't me but a failure of the 2.1.7 install to create said directory. Once manually created then all ports and packages install fine. Any ideas on why it isn't created at install time? --- Scott Morris GTE Telecommunication Services smorris@tsi.gte.com *** My opinions do not necessarily reflect those of my employer. ***
