The price is right, so don't hesitate. Cheers TfH PS : the problem I saw with 4 boards in a PC was due to the Compaq BIOS : it does not seem to support more than 3 PCI-PCI bridges (anyway, 4 boards is one too many for this machine) PS2 : here is a snippet of the dmesg : dc0: port 0xdc80-0xdcff mem 0xfafffc00-0xfaffffff irq 9 at device 4.0 on pci2 dc0: Ethernet address: 00:80:c8:57:cd:29 miibus0: on dc0 ukphy0: on miibus0 ukphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto Boris Samorodov on 10/11/2000 16:49:21 To: freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG cc: (bcc: Thierry HERBELOT/FR/ALCATEL) Subject: Multiport NIC needed Hi! Sorry for posting to this list, but in questions i've got zero answers. ---------- Good morning/evening/night! Does FreeBSD 4-STABLE support D-link DFE-570TX? Hardware.txt give us only DFE-530TX and DFE-550TX. We need one quad 10/100 NIC (four segments and only one spare PCI slot :-( ) So far we have found only one such card in hardware.txt -- ANA-61044. How is it with FreeBSD? Or maybe another card? -- WBR, Boris To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
