Been a while since I looked at that part of the handbook. This is one of the things I like least about doing development work on the sun's at work. I finally broke down and installed a bunch of the gnu tools and such on the one box I do most of my work on because not having those things (like diff, grep, RCS) was seriously slowing me down.
