The Kernel is GENERIC FreeBSD-8.1/i386 >Description: I have observed this error message on two different computers, Pentium 4 3.4GHz and Pentium 4 3.0Ghz - both dual core chips. They were both Hewlett Packard dc7600 Small Form Factor computers. The error only occurs when a CD/DVD is in the drive. The error is: acd0: FAILURE - READ_BIG MEDIUM ERROR asc=0x11 ascq=0x05 I don't know exactly what this error means, but suspect it is an error related to an error in the media/medium, i.e. CD/DVD disc. I had a different computer (but the same HP dc7600) running FreeBSD-8.0 and this error was not produced. >How-To-Repeat: Access the CD/DVD drive with a CD/DVD in it. >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
