Hello:
Looking for a few openwin apps I ended "spying over the Linux's side of the
bunker" and found an alternative to X called MGR. The HOWTO says "It has
been said that MGR is to X as Unix was to Multics."
The latest source distribution, thatis said to run under FreeBSD, is in:
http://archimedes.nosc.mil/Mgr/69 (or ftp the same place/ubication)

dont expect it to be as good as X, but at least it uses much less reources.

best regards,
Pedro.
