I have a FreeBSD 2.2.6 Release box setup as a dual-hommed gateway to provide a small Novell 3.12 Network with 12 users connected to the internet via a cable modem. The users are all running Windoze 95 and/or Windoze 98. The error logs on the freebsd box show the following error messages periodically throughout the day: de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: bad crc de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: alignment error de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: bad crc de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: alignment error de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: alignment error de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: bad crc de0: receive: 00:40:33:25:b1:12: alignment error The gateway in all ways seems to be stable, and has been up and running for about 3 months with now problems, but these messages just seemed to have started about 4 days ago. Any suggestions as to what may be causing these error messages, and what needs to be done to correct these messages.
