Pardon me I meant to send this to questions, but I do appreciate the response. In my haste to patch the configuration and get this machine back into production I put in the wrong address. I was on my way out of town when this happened. In answer to your question, I have tried camcontrol and the drive responds saying that it is ready. I still get a not configured error when I try to mount. I can run fsck /dev/da1 and everything seems to check out. It says that the drive has been marked clean, but still no mount. I am confused by one point fsck reports the drive as rda1 rather than da1.
