I have run 2.2.8 on this machine >without any problems. Can anyone help on this???? I'm also having trouble installing 3.1-RELEASE on a machine with 8MB 486. I am beginning to think 8MB is not enough for 3.1. Maybe your current problems are just bad sectors on your floppies, but if you do succeed, I'd be very interested to know.
