FXTV does not tune too well though (an old story - with a FM1216/I tuner and a MSP3410D sound chip). A thought - what version of tcl/tk is tix using? If it is tcl8.1 and tk8.1, you'll have problems - tix was reverted to using tcl8.0 / tk8.0 on 1998/03/17 07:55:17. I vaguely remember seeing similar problems.
