I've been loading the kernel from the network then getting the root
file system from a md device in the kernel. There is currently a limited
number of devices on the board that are supported by FreeBSD. The
smartmedia is one of them along with the PHY (DM9000). USB might be
working however there are dma issues (see other thread).
