Needless to say, people should also (well, *first* actually :) report these sorts of problems directly to 4-Front Technologies. This *is* a BETA version of OSS, after all, and if we're to see a stable version of the technology for final release then we need to get those bug reports in (yep, I've been sending in mine! :). I may not have mentioned this, but in another 6 months or so we'll also see a version of this technology released under the BSD copyright for inclusion with the system. It will be OSS/Lite, with support for fewer of the high-end sound cards, but it will at least give us the dynamically loadable sound driver we've always wanted. For that and other reasons, I'd like this driver to be shaken out a bit before then. :-) Jordan
