I am having trouble getting my sound card to work. I have posted numerous threrads on the BSDForums.org website, but suggestions/help has run out. The pertinent section of my pciconf -lv file is as follows: none1@pci0:31:5: class=0x040100 card=0x80f31043 chip=0x24d58086 rev=0x02 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Intel Corporation' device = '82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97 Audio Controller' class = multimedia subclass = audio which shows that there is no driver attached. I have added to the /boot/loader.conf the following: sound_load="YES" # Digital sound subsystem snd_ich_load="YES" # Intel ICH Any assistance in helping me resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated.
