Hello, I've got a bunch of new Dell PowerEdge SC440 machines, but I've some problems running FreeBSD on them. OS: FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE (but also -stable of yesterday), SMP (but tried also GENERIC monoprocessor), both i386 and amd64, always same results. Leds on the RJ-45 female connector are on (orange one for link) and off (activity). On the switch(es) link leds are always correctly on, so physic carrier should be present. What could be ? What could I try ? Ideas ? Second NIC: is not recognized at all. Maybe it's a matter of missing PCI IDs ? I don't know exactly which model is supposed to be, searching for those IDs gives inconsitances results..
