https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D256221 Bug ID: 256221 Summary: dns/knot-resolver: the kresd init script won't stop the service Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: portmaster@bsdforge.com CC: freebsd@dns.company CC: freebsd@dns.company Flags: maintainer-feedback?(freebsd@dns.company) Flags: maintainer-feedback?(freebsd@dns.company) The initialization script, kresd (/usr/local/rc.d/kresd) starts the resolver process as intended. But there is no way; short of killing off all the related PIDs, to actually kill kresd. IOW Initiating service kresd stop does absolutely nothing. Isn't there any way to cat/kill/remove the associated PIDs for this? Thanks. --Chris --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
