I haven't changed anything in terms of number of running process, and nothing for me could explain this increase. Also I've done the same test with i386 release, and there's no such a behaviour. One of my friend is having the same type of issue with different hardware (but still AMD64). The tool I'm using to monitor tempertature is xmbmon-205_1 + Cacti Software FreeBSD www 5.4-RELEASE-p1 FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE-p1 #43: Fri May 20 16:17:04 CEST 2005 root@www:/usr/src/sys/amd64/compile/TOM amd64 ww1# pciconf -lv agp0@pci0:0:0: class=0x060000 card=0x80a31043 chip=0x31881106 rev=0x01 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'VIA Technologies Inc' device = 'Apollo K8HTB CPU to PCI Bridge' class = bridge subclass = HOST-PCI pcib1@pci0:1:0: class=0x060400 card=0x00000080 chip=0xb1881106 rev=0x00 hdr=0x01 vendor = 'VIA Technologies Inc' device = 'Apollo K8HTB CPU to AGP 2.0/3.0 Bridge' class = bridge subclass = PCI-PCI fwohci0@pci0:7:0: class=0x0c0010 card=0x808a1043 chip=0x30441106 rev=0x80 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'VIA Technologies Inc' device = 'VT6306 VIA Fire II IEEE-1394 OHCI Link Layer Controller' class = serial bus subclass = FireWire atapci0@pci0:8:0: class=0x010400 card=0x80f51043 chip=0x3373105a rev=0x02 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Promise Technology Inc' device = 'PDC20378?
