Shigeaki Tagashira provides a minor patch for the Cicada PHY on his website that you need to apply to /usr/src/sys/dev/mii/ i tried adding "polling" to my /etc/rc.conf's ifconfig_nfe0 line but it looks like ifconfig still doesn't like that one.
