And as far as I know, it does *not* have a 'soft copy' on the included CDs. Those CDs are a release (?3.2) of FreeBSD. What those CDs *do* have on board is a bucket load of documentation including the "FreeBSD Handbook" - which is also essential reading. I urge you, if you are serious about using FreeBSD, to buy "The Complete FreeBSD". I also urge you to read the "FreeBSD Handbook". These two documents will cover over 90% of your questions about FreeBSD.
