Sender: owner-questions@FreeBSD.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk One problem, two questions: 1. Two machines, FreeBSD 2.1: X -- iijppp -- ISP -- Inet -- ISP -- 56K -- Cisco -- ENet -- Y Socket operations from X to Y or reverse hang with send-Q bytes left on both sides. Here's the trick: X to another machine on same Net as Y is Ok X to FreeBSD.org is Ok (to everyone else it seems too) X to Y with a different ppp ISP is Ok The thing that concerns me is that it is only between FreeBSD machines, and then some wierd dependancy on ppp or the first ISP's terminal server. ????? 2. What is the best News Group and Mail List(s) to be on for this and other types of info? Thanks again. Dan
