Will these changes be merged into the primary 3.0 tree? (if they haven't already). Also, is there a FAQ about using IPFilter on FreeBSD (as opposed to IPFW). No changes to the code have been made since 3.2.10beta9, but a cleanup of the examples (rules/*) shipped with the package has been done so that they all, at least, will be accepted as valid input. I'm quite confident that this is easily the most stable release for Solaris 2.*, if not for the other platforms as well. >From some of the panic's I've seen, I've reason to believe that the changes to use read-write locks where possible will be a performance win - especially for those with multi-cpu boxes. *touch wood* I will be introducing some new features to the NAT code for the next release (3.2.11) but would like to address the documentation issue as well. I'm sure everyone (except me ;) knows something that they would like to see explained further, so please let me know where I can expand and improve on the documentation.
