Now that I've spent a good deal of time hacking and customizing my FreeBSD box, I'd like to be able to do a least-hassle restore of everything in case things go straight to hell. What backup systems (other than SCSI) does FreeBSD support? What would you recommend that I use as a backup system (greater than 2GB is needed)? I saw that Conner has a 2MB tape system that connects to the IDE port. Has anyone written a driver to interface with this tape drive? If not, how hard would it be to do? I might be interested in writing a device driver for it. They're $400 brand new, and seem to be a pretty viable option. Experiences? I'd love to hear them! Thanks! -->Neil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Synthcom System's homepage: http://www.synthcom.com/ Europa Upgrade, Synth patches (D-50, Xpander/Matrix 12), used gear pricelist
