I've been testing a RedWood, dual PII 300, 128MB SDRAM system for the last few days using current snap 980130 with no problems. I didn't have any trouble getting the SMP kernel to run on this motherboard. I'm currently using the integrated IDE controller and haven't attached any SCSI devices yet so can't say if the onboard aic7880 works correctly. It appears to be recognized correctly at boot. The onboard ethernet works fine at 10 and 100. I'm only using the onboard video in text mode and haven't tried X windows. ------ Russell Neeper Texas A&M University Russell-Neeper@tamu.edu Computing & Information Services
