   during the initial BIOS boot.
   Then, when the scsi devices are probed, I get
     <F1> to resume, <F2> to setup
 
As you point out, that is a BIOS thing, so it will depends on the BIOS
installed on your machine I think.

Not to mention that endless joke, "there is no keyboard, please press
F1 on the keyboard to continue".
