Ah, yes, I am aware of this. I made sure to check whether the daemon was
running, just in my case with a plain old ps. And that it was functional, a=
s I
was able to get a sound output from another app. Perhaps I should have
mentioned in the original report, that the issue manifests only in Firefox.
