I have a couple of drives on my machine and have both DOS and OS/2 on it. I am currently using the OS/2 boot manager to switch between the two. Can I use the boot manager that OS/2 installed with FreeBSD partitions? Or do I have to use the boot manager that the FreeBSD install will provide? The second question. Can I place all the *dist directories on my E: drive as opposed to the C: drive? Or will the install only allow drive C:? Here's my drive configuration: Drive 0 - 1G HDD ------------------------- Boot manager (from OS/2) 1M DOS (primary - drive C:) 35M OS/2 (primary - drive C:) 65M FAT partition (extended - drive E:) 400M unused partition (targeted for BSD) 530M Drive 1 - 540M HDD ----------------------------- FAT partition (extended - drive D:) 503M Notice that I want to place FreeBSD in the 530M unused partition at the end of drive 0. Will this work OK? And what boot manager should I use? Thanks. ------- Jerry Kelley jerryk@indy.net "The greatest dangers in life are expectations." "The greatest danger in life are expectations..."
