Set the PC to your router's external IP address, DNS, and gateway. Test the speed. (If your ISP won't provide a speed test, Google for DSL speed test and pick an appropriate one.) If you got your ISP to visit you, this is what they would do. They won't (and shouldn't) believe anything else.
