On my machine it will wake = the machine but any subsequent poweroff it will briefly power itself of and on again. However if I reboot first the subsequent poweroff will work. I don't know if this is unique to my Acer laptop, with its various ACPI issues, or = if this is problem with my patch. So far I haven't received much feedback regarding this issue.
