My dmesg info follows: Are you getting UDMA ICRC errors in /var/log/messages? Any errors at all? If not, changing hw.atamodes probably won't help. It's worth checking the cables for damage/length. See numerous threads (stable and hardware) with UDMA ICRC in subject. > > Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project. > Copyright (c) 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 > The Regents of the University of California.
