Thanks. Upon reading 'man 5 pkg.conf', which identified the system-wide=20
configuration file as being located as /etc/pkg/FreeBSD.conf. That file=20
does contain this entry:

#####
url: "pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/${ABI}/quarterly",
#####

That file also states that to modify that file, create a new file as:

#####
/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf
#####

I have done so, and in that file I have placed this entry:

####
FreeBSD: {
   url: "pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/${ABI}/latest",
   mirror_type: "srv",
   signature_type: "fingerprints",
   fingerprints: "/usr/share/keys/pkg",
   enabled: yes
}
#####

Should that suffice?

Thank you very much.
Jim Keenan
