Rod did import the 4.4BSD-Lite config, but that was just the 4.3-Reno config with i386 and some copyrights added (it's unchanged between 4.4BSD and 4.4BSD-Lite). As explained elsewhere, config.new was also on that tape, which the other BSD projects rebased onto, and that become popularly known as the 4.4BSD config while the other config was the 4.3BSD config. This is a bit inaccurate, to be true, but is how people generally talk about it who aren't parties to lawsuits. :) Again, my apologies for recalling these conversations and not checking with the actual 4.4BSD system manager's manual to see which paper was published there and assuming it was the Torek paper.
