Then I will also mention that in my class at the UW (Seattle) there are some people who have *apparently* never even seen a computer, let alone touch or use one. They just think they will get one of those $60K jobs that they heard were out there for MCSE's. A story in class goes like this - A new MCSE was hired by a company to administer its network, then when asked to create some shared folders was unable to do so! At least in the class at the UW we get to learn common real-world networking, not just how to pass the exams. For me, I'm hoping that this and my Linux and now bsd experiance, networking them and winnt, win95/98, will help me get a higher paying job. I have a 6 pc network at home running these 4 os's and am having a ball learing how to make them all work together.
