I got a Digital Personal Workstation 500a in which I have to install freebsd. I upgraded the firmware to 7.2, the latest one, and I have booted the installation floppy and the cd-rom for release 4.3: it actually starts to load the kernel and then I got a message "Expected 1, not 4 program headers" (that looks like an elf problem) and it quits. I'm booting from milo and at the command line I write boot fd0:kernel.gz boot hda:kernel If I try to boot from Alphabios it keeps looking for kernel on the first partition of the harddisk (SCSI) Am I doing something wrong?
