I am reading with great interest two debates in this list.
I do not have much to add to the facts or technical aspects of these
arguments.
I am concerned with the escalating tone of the discussion.
For a bunch of devoted digital engineers, we sure are losing our minds.
We can disagree, argue, but why pull low punches and try to abuse each
other?
It gains you nothing; We are too far apart physically to enjoy the
pain on the other's face.
It looses us everything; The desire to work together, the appreciation and
respect towards each other.
I attribute it all to the changing weather. Gloomness of winter brings the
worst in us.
