Not to go Microsoft bashing, BUT...

We used MS Sourcesafe here locally for about 4 years, I haven't heard a
single person yet who's said "let's go back" or "CVS can't do XXX as well
as SS could."

WinCVS is a godsend for my point-and-click-only people too.
